For the love of the next film.
Independent film discovery, with clear boundaries and room for your own taste.
A little less searching. A little more watching.
MoviePass.org is an independent editorial website for people who enjoy films and want a clearer way to choose what to watch. We connect original reviews, selected film records, performer profiles, practical guides, and external ticket destinations. The goal is a useful route from curiosity to a movie night, not a feed that asks you to keep scrolling indefinitely.
What you will find here
The collection currently includes 12 film records, eight actor profiles, ten long-form guides, an editorial leaderboard, and a ten-question trivia quiz. Those are counts of published content, not claims about audience size or global coverage. Each film page identifies its source for factual credits and separates those facts from its original editorial perspective.
What you will not find here
We are not the MoviePass subscription service, a ticket seller, a streaming platform, or a live inventory provider. We do not manage memberships, take ticket payments, or operate accounts for readers. Our showtimes and ticket pages lead to external providers that own their listings and purchase flows.
Make your own shortlist
Use the movie database to follow a title, a genre, or a credited performer. Save a film locally through its bookmark button, read a guide in The Screening Room, or try the trivia quiz. The site’s core content remains accessible without signing in.
A clear relationship with the reader
We do not fabricate ratings, testimonials, partnerships, or credentials. Our rankings are editorial choices within this collection, and our actor profiles discuss selected screen work rather than private lives. Read the editorial policy for our approach to sources and corrections. For a factual issue or a general inquiry, use the contact page.
